Cooperatives

Cooperative is defined as a business and it is controlled by those people who uses the service as well as they also focus in the field of cooperative type of economics. It is also a principle of the one person and one vote only which totally separate from the capital stock. Cooperatives are generally based on the some type of values which is related to the self responsibilities, democracy, equity, equality, solidarity and self help. The various types of cooperatives are building cooperative, housing cooperative, utility cooperative, worker cooperative, social cooperative, and agricultural cooperative. All these types of cooperatives are mentioned below:

 Building cooperative
The members of the cooperative buildings are generally pooled on the resources to build a housing, which is used as a high proportion of their own labour.

 Housing cooperative
A housing cooperative is a legal type of mechanism for the ownership of housing especially where the residents create their own shares and it generally come in two ways that is the market-rate housing cooperatives and limited equity housing cooperatives.

 Utility cooperative
It is a public type of utility which is owned by its customers and it is a consumer's type of cooperative.


 Worker cooperative
A worker cooperative is basically a cooperative type of owned and you can also say that a democratically which is controlled by its worker-owners only.

 Social cooperative
Social cooperatives are defined as the various types of categories of the stakeholder which may become the members and it is including the paid type of employees like volunteers, public institutions and financial investors.

 Agricultural cooperative
Agricultural cooperative is like a widespread in the rural areas. Especially in the United States, there are both supply and marketing cooperatives.

 Cooperative banking
Cooperative banking is also known as loans and mutual saving which exists in the most part of the world and they are offering the financial services on the basis of cooperative.
